Managing Your Subscription

Manage your Auditoro subscription from the billing settings. This includes upgrading, downgrading, viewing invoices, and cancellation.

Accessing Billing

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. View your current plan and usage
  3. Access the customer portal for detailed management

Current Subscription

The billing page shows:

  • Current plan - Starter, Growth, or Scale
  • Billing cycle - Monthly or annual
  • Next billing date - When you'll be charged
  • Usage - Sites and scans used this period

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrade to get more sites, scans, or features:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm the upgrade

What Happens When You Upgrade

  • Immediate access - New limits apply right away
  • Prorated billing - Pay the difference for the remaining billing period
  • No data loss - All your sites and history are preserved

Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrade if you need fewer resources:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the lower plan
  4. Confirm the downgrade

What Happens When You Downgrade

  • Effective next cycle - Changes apply at your next billing date
  • Site limits - If you exceed the new limit, you'll need to remove sites
  • Feature access - Higher-tier features become unavailable

Before Downgrading

Check that you'll be within the new plan's limits:

Viewing Invoices

Access your billing history:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click View Invoices or Billing Portal
  3. Download invoices as PDF

Invoices include:

  • Charge amount
  • Billing period
  • Plan details
  • Payment method used

Updating Payment Method

Change your credit card or payment method:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Billing Portal
  3. Select Payment Methods
  4. Add or update your card
  5. Set as default if needed

Billing Cycle

Monthly Billing

  • Charged on the same date each month
  • Scans reset on billing date
  • Flexibility to change plans monthly

Annual Billing

  • Save compared to monthly billing
  • One payment for the year
  • Scans reset monthly (same total)

To switch between monthly and annual:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the billing frequency
  4. Confirm the change

Cancellation

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Provide optional feedback
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • No further charges
  • Data is retained for 30 days after access ends
  • You can resubscribe anytime to restore access

Reactivating

If you change your mind:

  1. Log back into your account
  2. Go to SettingsBilling
  3. Click Resubscribe
  4. Choose your plan

If you reactivate within 30 days, your data is restored.

Usage Limits

Scan Budget

Your monthly scan limit resets each billing cycle:

  • Starter: 30 scans/month
  • Growth: 100 scans/month
  • Scale: 500 scans/month

Unused scans don't roll over.

Site Limits

Site limits are enforced at the time of adding sites:

  • Starter: 10 sites
  • Growth: 40 sites
  • Scale: 200 sites

If you're at your limit, remove a site or upgrade to add more.

Common Questions

When am I charged?

You're charged on the same date each month (or annually if on yearly billing).

What if my payment fails?

We retry failed payments for a few days. If unsuccessful, your account is paused until payment is resolved.

Can I get a refund?

Contact support@auditoro.io within 14 days of a charge if you need to discuss a refund.

How do I get an invoice for a specific period?

Access all invoices through the Billing Portal. Each charge has a downloadable invoice.
