Sitemap Detection
When you add a site, Auditoro automatically checks for sitemaps at common locations:
/sitemap.xml/sitemap_index.xml/sitemap-index.xml- Locations specified in
robots.txt
If found, Auditoro uses your sitemap to discover pages for scanning. If no sitemap is found, Auditoro crawls from your homepage.
Custom Sitemap URL
If your sitemap is at a non-standard location, you can specify it in your site settings after adding the site.
Site Limits by Plan
Each plan has a maximum number of sites you can monitor:
| Plan | Maximum Sites |
|---|---|
| Starter | 10 |
| Growth | 40 |
| Scale | 200 |
When you reach your limit, you'll need to remove a site or upgrade your plan to add more.
Verification Required
After adding a site, you must verify ownership before running scans. Verification protects site owners from unauthorized scanning of their properties.
Unverified sites display a pending status and cannot be scanned until verification is complete.
Managing Sites
From the site list, you can:
- View details - Click a site to see its dashboard
- Edit settings - Update sitemap URL, scan preferences
- Delete site - Remove the site and its scan history
Deleting a site permanently removes all scan history and data. This action cannot be undone.
